About Sangeetha Shree T. S. Jairaj
PUNALUR T. S. JAIRAJ is a most talented born singer from kerala. He has proved his talents as anchor , music director, teacher and currently engaged as the Managing Director of SREE THYAGARAJA SCHOOL OF MUSIC & DANCE. This school has been working in Punalur since 1928 it is affiliated to Sangeet Natak Akademi, Kerala & New Delhi. T.S. Jairaj was born in Punalur, Kollam (District), Kerala 1976 and did completed his schooling from LPGS and Chemmanthoor H S, Punalur.
He is good in Vocal, Veena, Mridangam, Tabala, Guitar, Keyboard, and Harmonium. He also member of the Govt decided youth festival Judging Panel. Jairaj graduated in Ganabhooshanam from Sree Swathi Thirunal College of Music, Thiruvananthapuram in 1994. He has successfully completed Indian technical examination for music in Indian music lower and Indian music higher grade from Chennai in 1998. T. S. Jairaj has independently composed above 500 songs, which includes Light Music, Devotional Songs, Group Songs, Album Songs etc and is aiming to be a Professional Music Director. He won several recognitions at state level for Ganamela's, Vrindavadyam, Veena, Kadhaprasangam, Classical Music and Ottan Thullal. He has also won ‘Kalaprathibha’ title at various school & college meets.
T. S. JAIRAJ is a recipient of 3 Great Awards. He won 'SANGEETHA SHREE' award in 2004. The award is given by Kerala Cultural Minister G. Karthikeyan. He got 'SANGEETHA RATHNA AWARD' from Sri “HIS HIGHNESS THIRUVITHAMKOOR PADMANABHADASA UTHRADOM THIRUNAL MARTHANDA VARMA” in 2009. Swathi Cultural Centre 'Swathi Puraskaram' in 2010, 'KAVITHA VEDHI' award in 2015 and many more.
